When AppCenter is enabled, end users can access only the applications specified on the device. # **Main Features** - **Home Launcher**: Automatically keeps M3 Kiosk Launcher as the default home launcher even after the device is restarted. When this option is enabled, the kiosk screen runs after reboot, and pressing the Home button returns to M3 Kiosk Launcher(AppCenter) instead of the standard Android launcher. - **Admin Mode**: Enter Admin Mode after entering the password. In Admin Mode, you can manage the user screen, allowed apps, and kiosk-related settings. - **User Mode**: Switches to the user screen configured by the administrator. This app is used to install M3 Kiosk Launcher(AppCenter).
Run the **AppCenter Installer** app from the app list.

If AppCenter cannot be installed through AppCenter Installer, or if **AppCenter Installer** does not appear in the app list, you can manually install the **AppCenter.apk** file from the path below.

### **Set the Default Launcher After Installation**
- Initial setup is required after installing AppCenter. - Press the Home button and set **M3 Kiosk Launcher** to **Always**. - After this setting is applied, the device will always open with **M3 Kiosk Launcher**, even after it is restarted.
**In-App Home Launcher Registration Request Dialog**
While M3 Kiosk Launcher(AppCenter) is running, if AppCenter is not registered as the default home launcher, a home launcher registration request dialog is displayed within the app.
- **OK**: Registers M3 Kiosk Launcher(AppCenter) as the default home launcher. - **CANCEL**: Closes the dialog without registering it as the home launcher. However, this dialog will continue to appear while the app is running until AppCenter is registered as the default home launcher.
### **Revert to the Previous Launcher**

- This is the user screen where only applications allowed by the administrator or added bookmarks are displayed. - The device’s unique serial number is displayed at the top left of the screen. (e.g., 2592985) - In User Mode, operation of the Status Bar is restricted, and the device remains locked to prevent users from accessing system settings or changing device settings. - However, necessary features such as **Allow Status Bar** and **Allow ADB** can be separately enabled in the administrator settings. | ## **4. Selecting the icon at the top right displays the menu available in User Mode.
General users can use only limited menu options. If administrator settings need to be changed, select **Login** to move to the administrator login screen.

- Enter the password to access Admin Mode. - The default password is **‘mobile’**.
### **How to Change the Password**
1. **How to Change the Password** **Change in the App** You can change the password from the administrator menu by going to **AppCenter Settings > Change Admin Password**. 2. **Change Using the JSON File** In the internal storage path below, open the `SettingsInfo.json` file and change the value of the `"password": "mobile"` field to the desired password.

3. **Change Using Broadcast** You can change the password using a broadcast intent. This is the management screen that can be accessed after entering the administrator password.

- **Manage Check Box**: Selects the app icons to display on the User Mode home screen. Only selected apps are displayed on the AppCenter user screen. - **Confirm**: Saves the selected app list and applies it to the User Mode home screen. | ## **9. - You can register a bookmark by entering the bookmark title and URL. - `WebView`: Opens the bookmark URL using the dedicated WebView included with AppCenter. If the dedicated WebView is not installed, it is installed automatically when the bookmark is opened, and then the URL is launched. No address bar is provided, but navigation through links within the page is available. - `Chrome`: Opens the bookmark URL in the Chrome browser. The address bar is available, so users can enter another URL or navigate to other websites.

- You can set a wallpaper. - Gallery and default wallpapers are available. - If you place `wallpaper.jpg` or `wallpaper.png` in `Android/data/com.m3.appcenter`, the image file will be automatically set as the wallpaper, and the wallpaper cannot be changed manually in the app. | ## **11. - `Set Column Nums`: Changes the number of icons displayed in each row on the main screen. - **Default value**: 3 - **Available values**: 5, 7 - `ADB Control`: When the checkbox is selected, ADB is not blocked even in User Mode. - `Reset Settings`: Resets AppCenter settings to their default values. - `Enable Status Bar`: Allows use of the Status Bar in User Mode. Enable this option when system notifications need to be checked. - `Keep Admin Mode on Sleep`: Keeps Admin Mode active even when the device is locked, instead of switching back to User Mode. - `Change Admin Password`: Changes the administrator password. |
