You can configure options to be applied after reboot and manage the settings using QR codes or JSON files. On the Task Item List screen, you can view and manage the added Task items and their order.
- Select a Task item to modify its settings. - Task items are applied in order from top to bottom in the list. - To change the order of Task items, press and hold the reorder icon (:list:) on the right side of the list and drag it up or down.
> ℹ️ When the Apply Settings checkbox is selected, the configured Task items are applied to the device. - `Add`: Adds a Task item to be applied to the device. - `Make barcode(Export)`: Generates a QR Code from the currently configured Task items. For more information, refer to the **[[Make barcode]](https://m3-mobile.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/M3APPMANUAL/pages/24379393/APP+Start+Up#4.1)-Make-barcode-(Task-items))** section. - `File transfer`: Transfers the settings files of M3 applications to another device. For more information, refer to the **[[File transfer]](https://m3-mobile.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/M3APPMANUAL/pages/24379393/APP+Start+Up#4.2)-File-transfer-(M3-App-Resource))** section. - `Read barcode(Import)`: Scans a QR Code to import settings created on another device or PC. If the device is rebooted while Apply Settings is checked, the Task items are executed and applied in the order configured in the list. After the reset is complete, the mode switches to User Mode. - `Enable wifi preference settings`: Select this option to apply detailed Wi-Fi settings. - `Open network notification`: Displays a notification when a high-quality open Wi-Fi network is available. - `Keep Wi-Fi On during sleep`: Configures when the Wi-Fi connection is maintained while the device is in sleep mode. - `WLAN frequency band`: Configures the Wi-Fi frequency band to use. - `Automatic`: Automatically selects the appropriate frequency band based on the device and network environment. - `5Ghz only`: Uses only the 5Ghz band. - `2.5Ghz only`: Uses only the 2.5Ghz band. - `6Ghz only`: Uses only the 6Ghz band. - `Enable file download`: Select this option to start the file download. After the download is completed, the Task item is automatically disabled. - `Path`: Specify the path where the downloaded file will be saved. - `URL`: Enter the URL of the file to download. HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, and SMB protocols are supported.

**Rename**
- `Enable rename`: Select this option to rename the downloaded file. - `Value`: Enter the new file name. - `Install apk` : Enables the APK installation function. - `Allow same version update` [V6.8.1+] : Reinstalls the APK even when its versionCode is the same as that of the installed app. If disabled, installation of an APK with the same version is skipped. Downgrades and signature mismatches are not allowed. - `Launch after install` [V6.8.2+] : Automatically launches the installed app after the APK is successfully installed. The app is not launched if the installation fails, the download fails, or the installation is skipped because the APK version is the same. - `Type` : Select Local or URL depending on the location of the APK file. - `Local`: Installs an APK stored on the device. - `URL`: Downloads an APK from an external URL and then installs it. - `Path` : When `Local` is selected, enter the path of the APK file stored on the device. Ex: `/sdcard/Download/M3SDK_Demo.apk` - `URL` : When `URL` is selected, enter a URL from which the APK can be downloaded directly.

- `Package name`: When an app is selected on the Application Select screen, its package name is entered automatically. - `Component enable state`: Sets the enable state of the app. Select [No change] if you only want to configure automatic app launch. - `Launch app automatically`: Enables automatic app launch. - `Pin app` [V6.8.0+] : Pins the app to the screen after automatically launching it.

Apply Task Items** : Task items added to StartUp can be applied through **Apply Settings**, a QR Code or JSON file, or an Intent. Task items are applied from top to bottom in the order shown in the **Task Item List**. ### **3.1) Apply Settings** When the **Apply Settings** checkbox at the bottom of the Main screen is enabled, the task items saved in StartUp are applied to the device when the application process is executed. When **Apply Settings** is disabled, the task items are saved but are not applied to the device. **Reboot device** When Option menu > Reboot device is selected or the device is rebooted directly, the task items are applied after the reboot is completed. The task items are applied after reboot regardless of whether Setup after reboot is set to On or Off. **Back button** When StartUp is closed using the Back button on the Main screen, the time at which the task items are applied depends on the Setup after reboot setting. - Setup after reboot: On The task items are not applied when StartUp is closed. They are applied after the device is rebooted. - Setup after reboot: Off The task items are applied immediately when StartUp is closed using the Back button. If StartUp is not closed using the Back button, the task items are not applied immediately and are applied after the device is rebooted. All of the application methods described above work only when Apply Settings is enabled. ### **3.2) Intent (Single Setting)** When task items or device settings are applied through an Intent, they are applied regardless of whether Apply Settings is enabled. Intents operate in the following two ways: - Apply an individual function: Sends an Intent for a specific function and applies that function immediately. - Configure and apply task items: After sending multiple setting requests, send the `STARTUP_ACTION_CONFIG_FIN` Intent last to start applying the saved task items in StartUp. For more information about the types of Intents and how to use them, refer to the **Intent** section of **[SDK Manual - StartUp](https://m3mobile-manual.refined.site/space/SDK/73662469/StartUp)**. ### **3.3) Import (QR Code)** When a QR Code is scanned, the task items included in the QR Code are imported and the application process starts automatically, regardless of whether Apply Settings is enabled. When using multiple QR Codes, scan all QR Codes in order before the task items are applied. Depending on the Setup after reboot setting, the task items are applied immediately or after the device is rebooted. For more information about QR Code Import, refer to the **[[Import]](https://m3-mobile.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/M3APPMANUAL/pages/24379393/APP+Start+Up#5.--Import)** section below. --- ## **4. Export** The Export function is divided into Make barcode, which exports task items saved in StartUp as QR Codes, and File transfer, which transfers resource files used by M3 applications. ### **4.1) Make barcode (Task items)** You can convert task items saved in StartUp into QR Codes and export them to another device. This function can be used to configure key mappings, scanner settings, and other settings that are not managed as StartUp task items in the same way across multiple devices. It allows the existing configuration to be shared without repeating the setup on each device. Import** The Import function allows you to import and apply task items to a target device using a QR Code generated by StartUp or a `StartUp.json` file. The behavior after scanning depends on the Import UI Type (for Export) selected when the QR Code was generated. **Activity** - If there is one QR Code, scanning it opens the **Import Result** screen. - If there are multiple QR Codes, scanning the first QR Code opens StartUp’s **Import Barcode** screen. Scan all remaining QR Codes in the displayed page order. - After all QR Codes have been scanned, the **Import Result** screen opens.
